Team Current Status

Team Sun Hung Kai/Scallywag had their first taste of competitive Volvo Ocean 65 action in Leg Zero in August. Sun Hung Kai/Scallywag went west very early on in this leg in search of new northerly wind flow, however this strategy placed them much further north and upwind of the fleet, placing 7th in the Leg 0.

Their performance has been improved as they placed 5th and 6th in Leg 1 and Leg 2 respectively before the team is heading to Melbourne for Leg 3 and coming back to hometown Hong Kong for Leg 4 in January 2018.
